[8]. Multi-Code Electronic Industries (MULTICO, 7004)

Principal activities: Manufacture automobile electronic parts, etc.
Major shareholders: Goh Tong Huat, PNB, Chang Choon Cheng, Regensi Motor S/B, Goh Chai Siong.

The group manufactures central locks, power windows, control alarms, reverse sensors, and stop lamps. Proton is the main client of the group.

[9]. Sapura Industrial (SAPIND, 7811)

Principal activities: Manufacture parts for automotive and electrical industries, etc.
Major shareholders: Sapura Holdings S/B, AMDB Bhd.

The group manufactures stabiliser bars, breaks, engine and transmission parts, coil springs and shock absorbers. Its main product is the stabiliser bar, which the group currently supplies to Proton, Perodua and Peugeot.

Principal activities: Manufacturing automobile carpets and braking components, etc.
Major shareholders: MIYES Holdings S/B.

The group manufactures moulded and non-moulded automobile floor carpets and automobile clutch and brake components. Carpet products are mainly supplied to Proton, Perodua, Nissan, Toyota, and Honda. Automobile clutch and brake components are supplied mainly to Proton. Approximately 44% of the group's sales are attributable to Proton.

[11]. Sunchirin Industries (Malaysia) (SUNCRN, 7358)

Principal activities: Manufacturing automobile air-conditioning parts, etc.
Major shareholders: Sunrise Industry Co Ltd, Nichirin Co Ltd.

The group manufactures metal fittings, liquid piping, hose assemblies and related components for motor vehicle air-conditioning systems. 80% of the group's products are exported to Thailand, Australia, Europe, India, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Principal activities: Manufacturing automobile batteries.
Major shareholders: Tanjung Seleksi S/B, Chow Siew Hon, Abdu'R-Rani Bin Omar.

The group exports 30% of the automobile batteries manufactured. Locally,in the 4-wheeler segment, the group supplies mainly to Honda and Toyota. In the two-wheeler segment, the group supplies to Honda, Yamaha and Modenas.

Principal activities: Stamping automotive metal parts, etc.
Major shareholders: PNB, Mohd Shah Abu Bakar, Mohd Seth Abu Bakar, Edly Amran Mohd Seth.

The group makes metal stamping parts (foot pedal, metal hinges, trunk lid, etc), engine parts and components, fluid transfer system and plasticinjection parts. Protonisits main client, representing close to 70% of group's sales.

Principal activities: Manufacturer of automobile batteries.
Major shareholders: Lee Foo San, Ng Yoke Thong, Surin Bay Resort S/B.

The group makes automobile batteries. 60% of the group's products are sold to the replacement market, 30% to the original equipment market and 10% exported. Marques that currently use the group's products are Naza, Perodua, Nissan, Hyundai and Mercedes Benz.

Other companies such as Kein Hing International (KEINHIN, 7199), Mega First Corporation (MFCB, 3069), Paragon Union (PARAGON, 9407), Polymate Holdings (POLYMAT, 7846) and Triumphal Associates (TRIUMPL, 9911) also have a certain level ofinvolvementin the automotive parts and components manufacturingindustry, albeitinsignificant compared with to their core businesses. As for Kumpulan Belton (BELTON, 8427),itis a manufacturer of undercarriage parts butis currently classified under the PN17 category.
